Orientation Leaders use their leadership skills and Big Orange pride to welcome nearly 5,000 New Vols to campus. These student leaders help guide new students, families, and guests during one and two-day orientation sessions throughout the year in preparation for success at UT. Orientation Leaders also help facilitate Welcome Week and Family Weekend programming.
The 2018 Orientation Leaders have been selected. Applications for the 2019 Orientation Leader position are not yet open. Submit your contact information below to receive an email when applications open.
Those interested in becoming an Orientation Leader are strongly encouraged to attend an hour-long information session on one of the following dates:

Information sessions will cover the application timeline and process, requirements of the position, and time to ask previous Orientation Leaders about their experiences.

Orientation Student Director Staff
The Orientation Student Director Staff is a team of dedicated undergraduate students who have previously served as Orientation Leaders. They assist, lead, and facilitate programs hosted by the Office of New Student and Family Programs. D-Staff members take their leadership and involvement experiences to the next level as they prepare for graduate school and/or future careers!
